Flanders Fields Army Shirt: Canadian Military Conflict 1812 +
Military T-Shirt Sales! Cotton Army T-Shirts, Sizes Small - 3XL, Unisex fit!
Shop For Canadian Armed Forces Shirts design for men and for women that features every Canadian Military Conflict From 1812 To 2019 and shows Canadian Soldiers with a Maple Leaf worn on their hearts while standing in the resting on arms stance (leaning on a weapon held upside down with a bowed head). This stance has been a mark of respect for the dead and variations of the stance have been around and used since the sixteenth century.
The red Maple Leaf in the center of the front of the t-shirt design highlights Canadian conflicts from the War of 1812 to present day including Operation UNIFIER in the Ukraine as well as the conflict in Mali.
When best creating this commemorative design D-Day Wear® wanted to represent Canada’s historic achievements in the Boer War, WWI, WWII, and the Korean War, while paying a special tribute to Canada’s participation in all the U.N. Peacekeeping Missions: Cyprus, Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to name a few. We did our best to ensure the dates are accurate.
The back of these Canadian Military tribute t-shirts feature the World's most famous war memorial poem "In Flanders Fields" written by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae on May 3rd 1915, during the second Battle of Ypres of the First World War.
The poem is the reason that we wear a poppy during remembrance week to honour Canadians who died in battle. Because of his poem, the Poppy became the International flower of remembrance. Some of the 54 Commonwealth member states, such as Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia, observe the tradition of Remembrance Day on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
Other nations observe a solemn day but at different dates. For example, ANZAC Day is observed in New Zealand on April 25.
Buy another Remembrance Day T-shirt for your clothing collection; D-Day Wear has both a Unisex t-shirt and Ladies’ t-shirt with an embroidered poppy commemorating the Life Of The Unknown Soldier:
We did this shirt to accompany a song we released last year called "This Flag Flies Free" to raise funds for people who suffer from P.T.S.D. To listen to the song go Here!
