D-Day Wear®: = A Commemorative Military Clothing Company. Buy T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and hats / caps.
D-Day Wear® is a clothing brand that started 17 years ago when the Juno Beach Center opened in Normandy, France. At that time, they said people could buy a name plaque for your Dad or Granddad if they crossed the beach and which got us to think what about the Kids who never had Kids that never came off the beach, who was going to honour / honor these Soldiers who died for Freedom?
That is why D-Day Wear was created and thus over the years, Customers enabled us to donate over $54 thousand to the Juno Beach Center, From the sales of Military / Army t-shirts, the company participated in getting every fallen Canadian hounoured / honored with their name by beach where they died.
With this mission accomplished, D-Day Wear's new philanthropic focus is to promote awareness and to gather funds to provide Veterans and First Responders suffering from P.T.S.D. with professionally trained service dogs. This will help them overcome the unseen wounds of war and the psychological distress due to the job stress, which they endured from repeated exposure to traumatic events.
We’ve dealt with the past, now we are dealing with the present, so that people can have a future.
To complement fundraising initiatives, a new song and video has been released called “This Flag Flies Free” written by D-Day Wear’s Founder and President Joe Wilson. The song is sung / performed by an Iraq war Veteran from Mississippi: Chas Evans (Music for my lyrics) and the video for the song was produced by Marine Veteran Chris Nobles (MMIT Design) from Lexington, SC. Chris completed two tours of duty serving in Iraq. Buy t-shirts, hoodies and ball caps with the related DTG clothing design to raise more money for the cause: National Service Dogs
The goal of the song is to raise $1,000,000 for P.T.S.D. / P.T.S.S. So. Please do listen to the song and download it for a price of a cup of coffee
