Embroidered Vimy Ridge Golf Shirt Design: Shop Military Polos

Black preshrunk 100% cotton polos are each embroidered with D-Day Wear's unique stylish Vimy Ridge design over the left breast, close to the heart.  A Victorious Canadian Soldier with helmet held high in celebration is positioned in a Maple Leaf between the modified two white pillars to symbolize those found at the Vimy Memorial in France, represented by a V, both for Vimy and Victory. The marching Soldiers in the base of the image represent the struggles endured and overcome to be Victorious and with Vimy1917 embroidered in a bright blood-red color / blood-red colour, under the design of this polo shirt to signify the year of the momentous WW1 battle.

The Battle of Vimy Ridge became a Canadian national symbol of achievement and sacrifice as this was the first time wherein all four divisions of the Canadian Expeditionary Force battled as a cohesive formation and the ensuing success for Canada contributed to the status of its Birth of a Nation on the global stage.

One can only imagine the horrors of trench warfare that the troops had to overcome to achieve victory, from the barrage of the heavy artillery guns to navigating the trenches and tunnels of the battlefield as well as chemical warfare attacks. The back of the shirt features our clothing line logo, and embroidered D-Day Wear® insignia.
