Shop for a short sleeved embroidered t-shirt that honors the Airborne Infantry / honours the Airborne Soldier. Maroon colour / maroon color, preshrunk 100% cotton t-shirts commemorating paratrooper soldiers; You know those brave women and men that jump out of a perfectly good airplane, to be first to the fight. Paratroopers are usually light infantry brigades, set up to be moved by aircraft and "dropped" into battle. These soldiers can be placed behind enemy lines, and have the capability to deploy almost anywhere with little warning.

The military formations are limited only by the number and size of their aircraft, so given enough capacity a huge force of paratroopers can appear “out of nowhere” in minutes an action referred to as vertical envelopment.

The commemorative military t-shirt design shows the D-Day Paratroopers dropping out of the Douglas C-47 Sky Train or Dakota as the airplanes were commonly referred to. Each of the aircraft come complete with the D-Day invasion stripes. The three largest parachutes are embroidered with over 48,000 stitches which really sets off the piece artistically. With our past fundraising initiatives, people have enabled us to donate over 79 THOUSAND DOLLARS of which, 54 Thousand was used to successfully commemorate the lives lost by Canadian soldiers on the beaches of Normandy during World War II.
